It was easy to locate and is very central
It felt like staying in a hostel.and no tea/coffee making facilities in our room
cleanliness, nice location, convinience of parking ..
The staff really didn't had much idea about the must see tourist attractions and the transport system in the city.I think local knowledge is very essential in this business..Besides there was no free wifi..
I liked the shower pressure and the warm water.i enjoyed the breakfast.
There was not any plugs to charge my phone.room was very small.
Close to venues where we were attending two concerts
Drunks in hotel and people drinking/smoking outside the front entrance early in the morning
helpful staff at desk, although it would have been nice to have a kettle in room, also a toilet suitable for someone with disabilities, or at least handrails to get up from toilet.also to be nearer reception.
Close to restaurants and leisure facilities. A short distance to the SECC for shows etc.
I had stayed at this hotel when it was previously the Etap Hotel Glasgow and despite it being a budget hotel I always found it comfortable and pleasant. I have to say that it has certainly gone down market and is more like a hostel than a hotel now. Despite the recent television adverts claiming that the beds are now the most comfortable you can get I have to say that the bed, in fact, was the most uncomfortable hotel bed I have ever been unable to sleep in. It is highly unlikely that I will be visiting this hotel again, which is disappointing because I did enjoy it when it was the Etap.
Location and price
Rooms need maintenance. Shower fan stayed on all night. Window was difficult to close. Both our cards would not work lift so had to go and get them replaced.
Price and rooms were "trendy"
No second pillow option
Very conmfortable-friendly staff
Pillows and bed very uncomfy. School trip all placed on the same floor as us, ruined our weekend running around the coridors screaming at 7am
cleanliness of the room but basic.
£4,25 for continental breakfast that had no white bread. Cost for toast juice and tea far to much. No tea making facilities in room. will be looking elsewhere next time. Also staff at breakfast rude and unhelpful.
friendly staff clean comfortable rooms price
A bit too basic. Disappointed in the ensuite facilities having no privacy. That is not clear from the website.
good comfort & clean rooms
small size of shower room
